All of the herbs we use are organic-sourced ingredients (see below), tea/culinary grade, and have a shelf life of 12-24 months when stored properly (airtight container away from direct light/heat.)
All herbs are priced in 2-ounce packets, unless otherwise specified.
C/S means “cut and sifted”, which is a typical consistency/texture for loose leaf teas.

Are These Herbs/Teas Organic?
Technically-speaking, yes, but we can’t put that on the label. Here’s why:
We only source organically-grown herbs for our teas. We drink these teas and use these herbs ourselves, so of course we only carry the finest, purest ingredients we can find.
However, we cannot yet put the word “organic” on our packaging since “organic” is a regulated term and cannot be used without certification – even if we purchase certified organic herbs in bulk and repackage them.
Some of these herbs come from suppliers who are certified organic, while others are either wild-crafted (and so grown organically by default), or sourced from small-scale growers who use organic growing methods but have not yet become certified (like most small farms/farmer’s market vendors, etc…)
Organic certification is something we aspire to, but it is a lengthy and expensive process that is unfeasible with our small business at this moment.
Recommended Herb Storage
Our herbs have a typical shelf life of at least 12-24 months. We recommend storing all herbs in an air-tight container away from direct light and heat.
