When the full moon enters Aquarius, I detect a subtle a shift between the hot, steamy days we’ve had so far, and the subtle cooling that signals the beginning of the end of summer.
The full moon is a time to take time out to celebrate the fulfillment of your intentions that you set during the New Moon in Aquarius six months ago.
Because the full moon reflects the sun’s light back to Earth, I always take time to reflect on my own life during the full moon.
The Full Moon in Aquarius is a good time to reflect on areas of your life where you may need to take an unconventional approach to manifest what you want.
Take time to think about what you’re most passionate about, and don’t dismiss any ideas or approaches – even if they seem too outlandish or unusual.
It’s time to show your true colors, take down the facade, and allow the real you to shine like a beacon to attract the people, experiences, and things that you want most into your life.
It’s a time to re-commit to your intentions about what you love and are passionate about.

Full Moon In Aquarius Rituals
Here are some simple rituals that you can do under the Aquarius Full Moon:
1) Tarot For The Aquarian Full Moon
If you work with tarot, pull The Star (XVII) from your favorite tarot deck and reflect on how the archetype of The Star is playing out in your life right now.
The Star represents self expression, optimism, and revelation.
Sometimes, we arrive at the full moon, but we feel that we have so much further to go. It feels like we are far from achieving our goal, or fulfilling the intentions that we made during the new moon – and it’s discouraging.
The Star reminds us to take a step back and refocus on our dreams. Step out of the glare of the sun (everyday life), look up in the night sky, and draw some of those pinpoints of light (dreams, hopes, revelations) into being.
Here is a simple Release/Receive tarot spread that you can do during the full moon in Aquarius:
2) Tea & Journal
Make some mint ice tea (I love to make ice tea from my chocolate mint plant) and journal about what you want to release from your life between now and the New Moon in Aquarius.
Now brainstorm some unusual or unconventional approaches to working toward your goals. Don’t edit or censor your inner wisdom if it feels (on the surface) too bold, outrageous, or unbelievable.
My Garden At The Full Moon In Aquarius
The Aquarius Full Moon signals a time to begin harvesting certain herbs from my garden. Now is when sage is at its best. Lavender is in full bloom and ready to harvest.
I can’t pinch mint fast enough as it continuously produces new shoots, so I’m drinking lots of mint ice tea this time of year.
Mugwort is still another month away from blooming. I wait to harvest it when it is in bloom during the first week of September. That’s when it’s at its best.
While it can sometimes be hard to detect the shift in summer as it begins to wane, I can see changes in my garden as spring blooming plants have all but dissappeard, and late summer and fall-blooming plants are at their peak.
Yellow sprays of goldenrod are a sure sign that autumn is coming quickly.
